The DNA 11 family portraits can be viewed in-person from March 19, 2009 through Jan. 3, 2010 at the exhibit, and are also available for purchase online at www.dna11.com. “Having DNA 11 be a part of WIRED’s interpretation of the modern home is a great honor,” says Adrian Salamunovic, co-founder of DNA 11. “We are proud to lend our innovative approach to personalized art in providing the complete Smart Home experience.” Adds Nazim Ahmed of DNA 11, “It’s such an emotional thing to have the very essence of what makes you unique on display, and by combining your DNA portrait with other family members, the final portrait is that much more special.” “WIRED chose products in the Smart Home that showcase the engineering, design, and ‘ecopreneurism’ that challenge convention,” says Howard Mittman, Publisher of WIRED. “The modern aesthetic of the DNA family portrait not only looks great, but it offers an innovative approach to personalized art." Currently, DNA 11 can combine the DNA portraits of up to four people in a single canvas, or customers have the option of printing their portraits on separate canvases.
