DNA 11 UNVEILS MODERN-DAY FAMILY PORTRAITS AT THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY’S SMART HOME: GREEN + WIRED EXHIBIT


Creator of custom DNA portraits is the newest participant of WIRED’s sustainable “green” home showcase.

(Chicago, IL) March 23, 2009 - DNA 11, the innovators and creators of custom portraits made from customers' DNA, has partnered with WIRED and the Museum of Science and Industry by offering various DNA portraits to be on display at the Smart Home: Green + Wired exhibit in Chicago. The exhibit will showcase DNA 11’s modern-day family portraits which can feature up to four separate DNA prints on one canvas, creating one-of-a-kind artwork for the Smart Home.  The DNA 11 family portraits can be viewed in-person from March 19, 2009 through Jan. 3, 2010 at the exhibit, and are also available for purchase online at www.dna11.com.

Designed by Michelle Kaufmann Designs™ with WIRED serving as technology advisor, the home will allow guests to view the latest innovations to keeping the modern house green and simplifying daily life including home automation, energy monitoring, distributed media and cool gadgets.  The DNA 11 artwork will be featured in the home-office section of the house.
