DNA 11 Now Offers “Combined DNA” Portraits New SplitScreen Art ideal for Couples and Families

New York, September 9, 2005 - DNA 11, creators of unique, high-end digitalized abstract art from DNA, today unveiled their latest artwork offering, a SplitScreen combined DNA portrait, at the Semi-Permanent05 NYC design conference, being held today and tomorrow, September 9 and 10, 2005, at the Lincoln Center, New York. The SplitScreen art combines the DNA of more than one person in a single canvas, creating a one-of-a-kind artwork.

“Our artwork already allows individuals to see an artistic representation of their own DNA and the new SplitScreen art provides couples and family members an opportunity to combine each of their individual genetic fingerprints together on a single canvas,” said Nazim Ahmed, co-founder, DNA 11. “Its such an emotional thing to have the very essence of what makes you unique on display, and when you combine your DNA portrait with the portrait of someone else in your life, be it your partner, child, or anyone else that matters to you, then you have created an unconventional but deeply personal portrait.”

“We have created our new SplitScreen artwork as a direct result of unprecedented demand from our clients,” added Adrian Salamunovic, co-founder, DNA 11. “People wanted to be able to combine their DNA with that of someone close to them, and in some cases, wanted a unique portrait of their children, so we designed the SplitScreen to meet this need.”

DNA 11 presently can combine the DNA portraits of two people in a single canvas. They also offer a custom option that will allow the combination of up to four people on a single canvas. The pricing for the two-person SplitScreen, available in the 24"x36" size for $640.00 U.S and 36” x 54” size, is $ 940.00 U.S. Custom orders will be priced individually.
